$14 for this much food is extremely hard to find in DC and not only that, everything tastes amazing. I always go half and half with the butter chicken and tikka masala along with paneer and chickpeas as my sides. I love the concept of keeping it simple and making sure the few dishes are done well. Staff is kind and always say hello. Definitely recommend!
Butter chicken is of course a must try. Very affordable lunch option with naan and chick peas side. Pre covid lines would always be out the door. If new to the area definitely enjoy the shorter wait time.

Stopped by at this restaurant for a late lunch as well as one of my favorite dishes - ‘Butter Chicken’. The lady who took our order was very pleasing and accommodating and made our experience very pleasant. Menu is very simple - choose a main curry from Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken and 2 sides out of channa masala, saag paneer and aloo mattar. We were a group of 4 with 2 vegetarians so she gave us an option to choose the main curry from vegetarian options plus 2 sides. Butter chicken and chicken tikka masala tasted really good and channa masala was also very flavorful and delicious. Overall it was a good experience and I will definitely come here again for the butter chicken.
I got the butter chicken, saag paneer, channa masala, and garlic naan with the raita, mint chutney, and spicy sauce (huge portions and all for $11)!! As a big Indian food lover, I’ve been struggling to find a casual Indian place in DC that checks all the marks. While this place doesn’t have a huge array of options, what they do serve is spot on. The butter chicken was authentic, sweet with incredible spice and heat, some of the best I’ve had. This will definitely be a go to spot for me. Get there early before they sell out!
Wonderful service, good tasting food. Best of all was the price for the quantity of food. The place is ideally located fvor tourists - just a block away from the White House!
So my first time in DC and I decided try butter, chicken company, and the Roma's drew me in. I got there about 15 minutes before closing for the day and she loaded it up, for only 14 bucks! I would definitely be returning to this place, but I'll have leftovers for breakfast tomorrow!
